Workshop Technician

Location: Cincinnati, OH, USA

We're a growing international company and we're looking for motivated and practical individuals who want to learn, develop and grow with us.

Do you enjoy working with your hands? Creating or fixing things and solving problems? If you have ever successfully fixed your car or a household appliance, built a PC or flat-packed furniture, then you already have the skills needed to train and become an expert ATM Technician!

This role comes with 27 paid days off per year, contributory healthcare & dental plan and life assurance. 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, with no evenings or weekend working.

Working in our Cincinnati facility, this is more than just a job, it is the chance to kick-start an electrical or mechanical engineering career. A great opportunity for anyone with experience as a Manufacturing or Factory Operative, Repair Technician, Assembly Technician, Machine Operator, Tester, Production Assistant, or something completely different if you want to train and learn.

What will your role be?

The workshop team has a wide and varied remit, working to repair or refurbish a range of ATM parts and modules. You’ll be taking apart electrical and mechanical components, assessing them, cleaning them, repairing them, testing them and reassembling. You will have the opportunity to learn a number of new skills, or advance existing ones, such as fault diagnostics or soldering, as well as gaining experience in multiple parts with the chance to specialize as you progress.

Is this role right for you?

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be bright, keen to learn and develop and enjoy working in an active and practical environment. You will be comfortable using a number of tools or interested in learning how to. This is a proactive role and would suit you if you like to fix things and enjoy being hands-on.

If you have experience in any roles related to production, repair services or refurbishment, great. If it's from within an electrical or mechanical environment, even better. If you already know how to diagnose and fix an ATM fault, perfect! But if you don't, let's arrange a chat and we can discuss how your skills and experience could help TestLink grow. We can provide the training if you have the motivation and aptitude.

The Package

  • A starting pay rate of $16 per hour
  • 19 days paid vacation, plus 8 paid public holidays
  • Contributory healthcare, dental plan and life assurance (after probationary period)
