Business Development Manager

Over 28 years ago we had a vision, to build one of the biggest and best ATM parts and service businesses in the world and now we are looking for a talented Business Development Manager to grow our US market share and help us in our journey to achieving this goal.

What will your role be?
We will provide you with all the tools you’ll need (CRM system, head office support, marketing materials, attendance at conferences and exhibitions) for you to be able to apply your deal winning sales skills and persuasive communication style to secure new business.
You'll have ownership of growing the American market, focusing on Credit Unions, Banks, ATM Service organisations, Cash in Transit companies and other Financial Institutions. Using your experience, contacts and industry knowledge, you'll identify potential new customers, qualify opportunities, plan a focused sales strategy, turn customer requirements into a detailed proposal and create new business relationships.
This a field-based role, travelling 50% - 75% of the time, predominantly across the US, with global travel opportunities. Our offices are in Cincinnati and you can be based anywhere in the country.
Is this role right for you?
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be a good all-rounder with some experience in leading a complex or solution sell already under your belt (field sales, business development, inside sales or account management). You are just as comfortable presenting to customers face to face as you are generating new leads on the phone.
You don’t need to already be an ATM or Banking Automation expert, or have direct industry experience, but you do need to know our customers. You’re accustomed to working with Banks or Credit Unions.
This is very much a proactive role and would suit you if you’re an ambitious sales professional with the ability to drive growth and push boundaries. You have a consultative approach and career aspirations of building and leading a sales team.
